Everyone who knows me knew that I am a Foodie and am definitely not a picky eater. :) And my being adventurous in life surely extends to my eating habit! Pasta-lover. Well, you can call my hubby that. It doesn't really matter much what sauce you topped his pasta with, he will still definitely prefer that compared to any rice meals! 

And so, because I love him so much and because I wanted to serve him and my kids a healthy meal, a brilliant idea came into my mind! Ting! Now, I know what to do with my Uni-Pak Mackerel (though, kung ako lang, mainit na kanin lang ang katapat nito! hahahaha). Instead of making use of our usual recipe - tuna, I used mackerel for my pasta dish. And I am just so glad that I tried this recipe because my daughters, especially my husband loved it!

Kaya mga momshies, try niyo din ang recipe na'to! This is definitely one proof that one shouldn't be settled with the things that we are already used to. Try to experiment from time to time and you will realize that "hindi basta nakasanayan, the best na yan!" We should always remain on the lookout on how can we better serve our love ones! And mga momshies, do remember too, that "basta Mackerel, dapat tatak UniPak!" para wala kang pagsisisihan!

School classes officially started earlier this month. My two daughters had their first day last June 5, 2017. Soo early! Whew! And with my daughters going to school, that would also mean daily baon-preparation!  Bento baon, here I come again! :)

I have been fascinated with all the bento ideas that my mommy friends have been posting on their social media faces. And so, when early this month I was given the chance to try the cleaning products offered by Powerclean Chemicals, I did not really let the opportunity pass!

In one of my previous post, I have already confessed that I am an addict - a shoe addict, that is. :D 

But hey, my addiction doesn't just end there! I've got one more addiction which I cannot cure - BAGS, BAGS, BAGS and more BAGS! 

It started as early as when I am still in grade school. Whenever a bag caught my attention, I know I must really have that bag, no matter what! :D 

My fascination for bags continued even during my college days. And this even heightened when I was already working as I then have the purchasing power to buy every bag that my heart desires! Hahaha!!!

My addiction only lessened (this is the keyword - lessened only, not totally lost!) when I already became a mother. Change of priority, as they say. 

But now that my two daughters are no toddlers anymore, I'm back on my addiction! And I guess, I leveled up even more as now, I likewise have my two princesses to influence! :D Their into bags too! Now, I have two shopping buddies! :) Now, I feel less guilty whenever I do purchase a bag since I know that this can be of future use by my daughters too! ( sige, push pa! Justify pa more!) :)

But, what do I really look for in a bag? 

My first consideration is the size. I want to stash everything in just one bag! 

My 2nd consideration is quality and durability. The bag must be durable enough to carry all my things.

Next will be the price. It must really be affordable so as not to hurt the pocket. As a mom, I really need to keep everything within the budget. 

My last (but definitely not the least) consideration is the design. It must compliment my wardrobe and must fit the occasion I am going to. I do keep bags which goes well in formal events, and hip, trendy and more casual bags that are perfect for those out of town trips or even to a simple trip to the mall.

Last July 30, 2016, as part of their school activities, my daughter and I together with her cousins, classmates and teachers, watched Gelay Gulay at the Taguig City University Auditorium. 

Gelay Gulay is an interactive children's play intended to encouraged children to go away with junk foods and to eat healthy foods instead. You can view a short clip of the play HERE.

The students really had a great time watching the play, thanks to the colorful costumes and the lively lights and sounds, the kids were never bored.

After the show, we finally got a chance to check out the Tempra booth available outside the venue. And as part of their on-going promotions, we were able to score tickets to their special block screening of the movie, The Secret Life of Pets, in exchange of buying Tempra products. The Secret Life of Pets is a story about pets who found friendship and a sense of belongingness in each other, despite differences. 

Max and Snowball are so cute, I want to bring them home! :D
