Bakery Fair 2015 at World Trade Center

I visited the last day of the three-day Bakery Fair 2015 held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, which was held from January 30 to February 2015.

I have always wanted to bake. Though I am not much into sweets, I really wanted to become a pastry chef. I just find the different designs of the cakes, cupcakes, etc. so fancy and beautiful to look at. It really amazes me how they were able to create such beauty, such art!

I remember how I was when I was still in grade school - collecting recipes and following every step of it. Gladly, I had some successful attempts! :)

But as I grow older, I became more busy I was not able to pursue this interest of mine. But this doesn't prevented me from attending events which has relation to baking. I am still not loosing hope. I know some day, I can find ways to allot some time to finally do this interest of mine.
Am here!

I was really happy to have attended the Bakery Fair 2015. Upon entering the venue, I was greeted by the line of cakes displayed at the center aisle. Of course, I was not able to resist capturing those masterpieces!

Aren't they all lovely? I really wish I can make my own masterpiece someday! :D

The Bakery Fair offered a wide variety of goodies, to the delight of all the baking enthusiasts who have attended the event! It was participated by both local and foreign companies. There were variety of ingredients, there were baking equipments, from small baking tools to the gigantic ones, name it and you would find it there!
There were lots of demonstrations too! And of course, food tasting! Yum, yum! :D

Before I left the venue, I noticed that there were additional cakes on display. I think there was some kind of a competition, but I will not tackle on this as I really do not have any information on it. Let's just satisfy our eyes with these beautifully crafted cakes.

I really had fun at the Bakery Fair! I will surely be checking them out again on their next schedule! Hopefully, by that time, I have already mastered a recipe or two! :D

NSOHelpline.com, The Travel and Hassle-Free Way of Getting an NSO Certificates

If you need an NSO birth certificate, marriage certificate, death certificate, and or CENOMAR for travel, passport, enrollment, claims, ID application, or VISA processing, or for any other legal purposes, going to the nearest NSO Serbilis Outlet is a sure way of getting your hands on that very important document.

However, getting to the nearest NSO Serbilis Outlet is becoming quite a challenge nowadays, with MRT-related concerns all over the news and the ever present traffic jam of the city an omnipresent fact of life. Of course when you successfully arrive at your destination, queuing in line and waiting for the processing is part and parcel of the experience. Add all the effort and expenses, and probably the need to apply for work leave, and you dedicate a day’s worth of your life just to get a copy of your NSO document.

But what if all you need to do is to sit down, open your computer and open the browser www.NSOHelpline.com  side by side with your Facebook browser? What if you can apply for your NSO copy of your needed certificate by clicking and typing the needed info in one easy online form? What if all you need is one click or phone call to (02) 737-1111 and your NSO certified document will be delivered to you in 2-3 days right at your doorstep, anywhere in the Philippines? Now that ain’t so hard. It would probably take about 15 minutes of your time, without having to apply for work leave mind you because you can do it anytime 24/7.

And just earlier this month, I was able to try the service of Pilipinas Teleserv by securing a NSO copy of our marriage contract online. I applied for a copy of my marriage certificate on a Tuesday, and lunch time on Friday, it was already delivered in our office. Definitely within their promised 2-3 days delivery period! And mind you, the delivery person was really strict. He really demanded for proper identifications, so there is really no need to worry about security. I'm one happy customer!

Here is the copy of my Certificate of Marriage delivered right in the comfort of our office. :D

A closer look to their seal/sticker.

Why Blogging is Rewarding

I started out blogging for personal purposes and reasons. You know those times when your mind is just overflowing with ideas (crazy ideas, most of the time), and there is simply no one you can share it to, wary that they might just laugh or criticize you? It was for these reasons that my desire to blog began. Blogging became my confidante. I can share and divulge anything and everything without any fear. It became my online diary.

Then, later on, as blogging progresses, my online diary now becomes a venue not just of my personal experiences and interests, but that of other audiences as well.

Blogging now emerges as the new medium being tapped by advertisers, media companies, and businesses especially of those belonging to small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to promote and create awareness of their products. And this is where the additional rewards come in. Aside from the rewards that writing per se is giving me, blogging now opens a new door of unlimited opportunities for me! And I can't be much thankful enough because now I am likewise able to incorporate the things I've learned during college - Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations and Photography - all important aspects of Blogging! :)

How about you? What makes blogging rewarding for you?

Youth, The Gift of Hope

"Ang Kabataan ang Pag-asa ng Bayan!" I still have faith in this belief of our National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. I still believe that our youth today can still help us realize the dreams that we have for our country - a better Philippines!

But, with what's happening to our country now, wherein more and more of our countrymen are experiencing hardship and are really struggling just to survive, I can't really blame those who are already losing hope.

So if there is one gift that I would like to give our country, it is the gift of HOPE.

That as long as there are younger generations, HOPE can and will still be within our reach!

My work as a Court Interpreter in a family court exposes me to the reality of life. And it really saddens me to know and witness the gravity of offenses and crimes that our youth are now getting theirselves involve with. Gone is the innocence that used to distinguish the young ones from adult...

With this reality, how do we still achieve our dreams for a better Philippines?

I still believe that we can still do something, if work hand in hand, now!

Education. I still believe that this still remains the greatest tool that every person should have. This will guide them to distinguish good from bad.

But, what do we do with the youth which are already involve in crimes - referred to us Child in Conflict with the Law (CICL)?

As of today, there are organizations that takes care of the CICLs. Some are under the Department of Social Welfare & Development and there are likewise from the private sectors. The National Training School for Boys & The Marillac Hills are just some of these organizations. They provide life to every CICL after they were sentence for the crimes they've committed, in preparation for the time when they will be getting out the institution...

But, unfortunately, these agencies are no longer sufficient to provide the needs of every CICL due to insufficient budget & manpower.

And so in order to revive HOPE, I really wish I can give the Phillippines shelters and institutions to cater the CICLs so that each will be ready when they finally get out of the shelter and mingle with the society again. And hopefully, they can be more productive citizens, thus, finally realizing the hopes and dreams, not only of Dr. Jose Rizal, but of all of us Filipinos!

How about you? What gift can you give the Philippines?! #GLOBEProjectWonderful2014

Ang Pera na Hindi Bitin

I just finished reading Ardy O. Roberto, Jr.'s Ang Pera na Hindi Bitin today and I might say that not only did I learn a lot from the book, I was very much entertained as well. The author used a mixture of English and Tagalog language as his medium. It is in a very conversational manner, so there is absolutely no reason that a reader can get bored reading this book.

I likewise find it very interesting how he was able to blend all his concepts and strategies on how to never get short of money with that teachings of the Bible.

Another plus factor of this book is its pricing. It is very much affordable, and yet very educational still. Thus, making this book accessible even for the low-income generating individual - giving everyone a chance to change and enhance both  their financial & spiritual status.

So if you are looking for ways to improve your life and attain financial stability, go grab this book now! :)

Finally got my E-plus Tap to Pay Card!

Last Wednesday, July 3, 2013, I finally got myself an e-plus card at SM Cinema Manila. I have been wanting to have this since it was first launched by SM Cinema. But, as for some reasons, I wasn't able to avail it before. And now, I am finally glad that I already own one.

SM e-plus card is a prepaid card designed to let the moviegoers enjoy movies without the hassle of lining up to the ticket booths. With this tap to pay card, moviegoers can just get in the theater simply by tapping or putting their cards in the tap to pay machine. Fun, right?!

But there's more to this card as this card card can now also be used in paying your transportation in UV Express & Snack Time. It also carries exciting discounts and privileges with its partner merchants such as Papa John's, Burger King, Belo, Great Image, to name a few.

One can also earn points with every use of this card, and you can have these points exchanged to premium items. Isn't that great?!

To know more of this e-card, you can visit the e-plus booth available in all SM cinemas. You may also check their website at www.smcinema.com !

By the way, I'd like to thank Ms. Glenn & Mr Joshua for assisting me in my e-plus application! Thanks also for the pen! :)
