Celebrating Women's Month at the Manila City Hall

In celebration of the 2015 National Women's Month, yesterday, March 6, 2015, the Manila City government together with the Manila Health Department once again organized a mini event at the ground floor of the Manila City Hall with the theme "Juana, Desisyon Mo ay Mahalaga sa Kapakanan NG Bawat Isa, Ikaw Na!"

I availed a free shot of Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR) vaccine given by the Manila Health Department for women within the age bracket of 18-40 years old. Not known to many, mumps, measle and rubella (also known as German measles) are very serious diseases which can easily be transferred from one person to another through air. That is why, getting a MMR shot is really a must so as to avoid life-threatening sickness. Remember, prevention is better than cure! :D

Also, in support of the fair's theme, there were several companies and brands which showcased and offered the healthy benefits of their products.
