Yesterday, October 1, 2o11, Saturday, was my younger daughter, Reena Joy, first movie experience. Actually, we are hoping to see a movie more fitting to her age like cartoons for her experience to be more memorable, but unfortunately, nothing of these kinds were offered yesterday at the SM Mall of Asia Cinemas. Not quite a good timing.

And so, we are destined to watch Johnny English Reborn. Not that I don't like this movie, it just that I have already seen the movie the previous week. :-)

Right after we entered Cinema 3 and found our seats, Yna said to me "Mama, bakit ang laki ng TV nila? Kasi malaki ang bahay nila?" Well, I guess my ever intelligent daughter already answered her query so I just smiled at her.

And I guess, the movie was all worth it because my two daughters appreciated the movie so much since they are familiar with the lead character, whom they referred to as "Mr. Bean". hihihi

Oh, and my husband, he enjoyed the movie too. I even kidded him to try the training that Mr. English have done training with the monks.

Next movie target - Alvin and the Chipmunks! They have seen the poster of this movie on the Cinema billboards and they are really ranting and excited to see this movie! :-)

As a mother and as a wife, it is my obligation to ensure my family's welfare. Actually, I already had copies of Mr. Colayco's books - the three Making Your Money Work, Pera Mo, Palaguin Mo Books 1 and 2 and the Workbook, plus the Money for Kids, but until now, I am still finishing the first book. I really wanted to finish them all, but most of time, I just don't have enough time to read it. Now, I am almost hearing what the two great speakers have told us.

Doom of the Broom - End of Cleaning Misery!

Cleanliness is next to godliness. This saying proves to be one of my favorite philosophy in life that I really adhere to. A clean living environment is definitely a top priority for me. Who wants to live in a dirty place anyway?!

To achieve this goal of maintaining a healthy environment, the "walis tambo" has always been my everyday companion. Aside from the reality of having to endure the dust blow of the "walis tambo", this had always been a great cleaning tool for me.

But this changed the moment we moved in to our new place. Cleaning three floors everyday is definitely a tedious task for a working, studying and hands-on mother to two adorable babies like me. Everyday, I have to wake up early in order to clean our house before going to work. And this has become something that I no longer look forward to every morning.

My baby's first ever fashion show

Come this Saturday, my baby and I will have another "first".

The 100 Cutest Babies of Metro Manila will take center stage at the Activity are of SM Megamall ( previous location of the Ice Skating Rink). Managed by Innovision, this event will be Megamall's way of officially welcoming the Summer Season as the babies are going to be showcasing different summer attires in their opening number.

The fashion show is divided into three categories: The Summer Fashionista, The When I Grow Up and The Babies in Fashion.

Am really excited for this event. I just hope that everything will turn out ok.

Getting a higher degree...

I am currently doing the first three chapters of my thesis right now, as a requirement for my subject in Seminar in Thesis writing.
At the beginning of the semester, I never really thought that I would be having this much trouble doing my thesis. But now, with merely four days before the deadline, I am now really terrified if I would really be able to finish it on time. huhuhuhu...
Of course, there is one to blame - ME! My lack of focus on what am I supposed to be doing and prioritizing. And now, I am in real trouble.
Can I passed it on schedule? That we will have to see come Saturday! :-)
Wish me luck! I really need much of those things! :-)

It's the day again of the year when everyone (well, almost), especially those who are very much in to relationship and very much in love!

Valentine's Day - definitely a RED LETTER DAY for lovers out there. It's the only day of the calendar when we are all given the license to be extra sweet and mushy! Oh, how I wish my husband will take advantage of this day! ehhehee

For this year's V-day, we didn't exactly planned anything especial (just like the past years, nothing new really.heheh), but luckily we are able to get an early treat from Charmee - tickets to Sarah and Martin's concert last February 12, 2011 at the Araneta Colliseum entitled - What Love Is!

We definitely enjoyed the concert. Both Sarah and Martin are both really good performers, but I would just like to give additional credit to Mr. Martin Nievera for his adlibs and witty humor. It definitely made the event more fun!

Back to our V-day celebration. Early this morning, my husband and I shared a simple breakfast. That's it. What next after this, I don't know...

Whether there are still in store for us later or not, it still is a Happy day for me. With flowers and chocolates or not, what matters most is that we are still together and the love we have for each other remains stronger and stronger everyday.

This maybe a little hard work on my part, but this is definitely the kind of hard work that I am very much enjoyed doing everyday of my life!

I think it is more or less a year now since I started joining my babies in variety of photo contests, most online. Unfortunately, our entries haven't win yet. :-( since I always have limited time to campaign for them. My work and my studies, among many other responsibilities kept me from doing so. Yugatech Contest

February 24, 2010, I, together with my mom, went to Baclaran to do my stint for this very challenging contest. I arrived at the Baclaran church in time for the 4:30 - 5:30 mass. I am tempted to post inside the church while the mass is on-going. I really find the moment perfect to capture the many people inside the church, but I refrain myself from doing so. I find it a little disrespecting since this my create commotion. After the mass, we participated in the Novena for the blessed Virgin Mary. I really took this chance to pray my intentions, one being able to somehow win in this contest.:-)

After the Novena, we rushed outside to capture the crowd going out of the church. But, my mom, being the "not so techie" kind of person, really had a hard time taking my photos.

Two of our family's favorite bonding activity are biking and jogging. My husband and I are both working, so we really make sure that our weekends are maximized by allotting bonding time with our two daughters. Good thing we are near the Heritage Park.
